Sam again

Hey greg. just wanted to write down some memories so i never forget them. Ill never forget the Red Sox game. You made me cry because you kept telling everyone that i was a yankee fan(which im not). But   you were just trying to be funny i understand that now. Also, in D.C when you found that wood shaped like a hockey puck and then you played floor hockey all around the hotel with us. There are lots more but too many to write down. I miss you greg

I knew Greg since we were in the 7th grade.  I always thought of him as a younger brother since I was so much older!...by 7 months.  Stacey and Thera were (and still are) my best friends so he was my brother for sure.  He was infectious, fun, kind-hearted and just wanted to have fun.  That fun got him in trouble sometimes since his one character flaw was that he didn't think too far down the road!  But even then, you couldn't help but love him.  However, with age or connecting with Cheryl, or both, Greg was in the best stage of his life.  He was thinking down that road and was such a great human being.  Kind, fun yet responsible.  The very best thing that ever happened to him was marrying Cheryl.  They brought out the very best in each other and he found what is truly important in life... I am deeply sorry for your loss.  To Maury, he had your personality and great looks.  To El, what a great and loving son.  To Stace and Thera and Maura, what a fun and wonderful brother.  To Cheryl, may God give you the strength to get through this.  He would want that....XOXO

Greg was a very close friend, we looked into each others eyes and talked about all of the good and true things that the world has to offer us, his belief in that was unmatched and an inspiration to many.  It was very meaningful to me to meet his family in San Diego it was obvious that they were all brought up in a loving household with many adventures along the way. I hope to keep in touch with Maury and all of his awesome sisters and his loving Mom. I will be thinking of you out east.

I have so many Greg stories that I wouldn't know where to begin, but one that sticks in my mind was when he and I snuck backstage at a Dead show in Atlanta then couldn't find our way back out. We were back there quite awhile and ended up walking out about 2 feet in front of the band (behind the security guards). Greg was quickly escorted out as I hid and watched Jerry Garcia laughing at him and just shaking his head. Greg was smiling ear to ear...

A side note, we were at the Shoreline and Greg went running by wearing a real long stocking cap, and as it flew in the wind, I said "there goes the Grinch", and that name stuck, I think he liked his "Grinchy" alias...I miss you my friend !

My dear Cheryl,

I was so sadden to read of Gregg's accident.  I know your pain and the depths of your feelings.  Dwell on your happy times and celebrate Greg's life.  I know you are grateful for the happy years you shared with Gregg.

It seems only yesterday that all you kids were so busy on Sunset Drive.  My sons thought you were such a cute cheerleader.  Please visit me.  I"d love to see you.
